Renew Your Membership for 2024

When you support Historic Takoma you invest in our mission to preserve, protect, and share the history and culture of the Takoma Park community. Please renew your membership for 2024.

This has been an active year for Historic Takoma. In 2023 we…

  • Resumed walking tours (Old Town and the Dinky Line)
  • Held workshops on house research and preserving family archives
  • Sponsored talks by local authors
  • Continued to produce and screen videos through the African American Oral History Project
  • Testified on incompatibility issues of the proposed Metro development affecting DC and Maryland Historic Districts
  • Produced window exhibits highlighting our collections and local history
  • Continued to catalog and make available our research archives
  • Continued to collect books by Takoma Authors

We look forward to expanding these activities in 2024, as well as resuming the House and Garden Tour.
Your membership helps us with this work. Your continued support is crucial. Please renew your membership now.
